Ofsted
In January 2026 we were inspected under the new Ofsted framework and a delighted to say we met the expected standard in 6 out of 7 areas.
Keeping in mind this new standard is a higher benchmark than the old ‘good,’ for our school, which has been ‘Requires improvement’ for at least the last 3 Ofsted inspections, this is a monumental shift in the most positive direction. As always, credit goes to every single member of Team Bulford – the children, the parents, the wider Trust and every single member of staff who make our school incredible!
This achievement reflects the strong sense of belonging our pupils feel, the warm and welcoming atmosphere across the school, and the high expectations that help every child thrive. Inspectors recognised that our pupils achieve well in our inclusive school and behave positively in class and around the school. They also highlighted our strong safeguarding culture and the care and dedication shown by our leaders and staff.
